New hardwood floor

1. Remove existing tile flooring in the kitchen. 2. Inspect the subfloor for any damage or unevenness. 3. Repair or replace any damaged or uneven areas of the subfloor. 4. Acclimate the hardwood flooring to the room for at least 48 hours. 5. Install a moisture barrier or underlayment as needed. 6. Begin laying the hardwood flooring, starting from the center of the room. 7. Cut and fit the hardwood planks around obstacles such as cabinets and appliances. 8. Nail or glue down the hardwood flooring according to manufacturer's instructions. 9. Install any transition strips or moldings where the hardwood meets other types of flooring. 10. Sand and finish the hardwood flooring to achieve the desired look. 11. Clean up and dispose of any debris from the installation process. 12. Inspect the finished hardwood flooring for any defects or issues. 13. Provide maintenance and care instructions to the homeowner.
