Meet Jesse
Jesse faced difficulties in finding reliable contractors to work on his home projects. The existing options to find contractors were not helpful and often led to inconveniences such as taking time off work for quotes, additionally contractors would not show up or show up late, lack of progress updates once the first payment was sent, and payment issues near the end of the project.
Having a successful career in software development, Jesse felt that there should be an easier way to get home projects completed without the loss of time and additional frustrations. He decided to ask his good friend Mike, who was very handy, if he wanted to solve this issue together. They decided to build a platform that would connect homeowners with residential contractors, making the experience extremely easy and hassle-free. With the goal of trying to solve all of the problems that most people face when trying to get work completed around their house.
With a passion for technology, Jesse and Mike poured their hearts and souls into building the platform, dedicating countless late nights and weekends to make it user-friendly, transparent, and reliable for both homeowners and contractors. Today, their platform has revolutionized the way people undertake residential contracting projects, providing a seamless experience for all parties involved.

Meet Mike
Mike has always had the mentality of “get it done” and “ I can figure it out” whether it was his day job as an engineer or working on home improvement projects. There was no obstacle too challenging he wouldn’t take on. Except for hiring a contractor, no matter how long it would take Mike to complete the project versus hiring it out, doing it himself and maybe asking a friend for help always sounded like the easier option.
When Jesse approached Mike about his personal issues with finding good contractors and a concept he had for a website that would actually help homeowners and not just “link” them with a contractor, he knew he could help. With his understanding of construction and network of friends that work in home construction, he knew he could help provide the dual perspective needed to make a website that would benefit both homeowners and contractors.
After spending countless hours on the website’s features and talking with people in the industry, Mike gained even more insight as to how they could improve their platform over the competition. While meeting and working with contractors, talking at trade shows with customers and builders, Mike discovered a deeper interest for construction/building and is now a licensed builder on top of his engineering career.
